COURSE DESCRIPTION
Asbestos is a hazardous material that was widely used in construction and many other industries. Although its use has been restricted, asbestos-containing materials can still be found in older buildings, making asbestos awareness an important part of workplace health and safety.
This Asbestos Awareness Course provides essential information for anyone who may come into contact with asbestos as part of their work. The course explains the risks associated with asbestos exposure, how to recognise materials that may contain asbestos and how to minimise the risk of accidental exposure.
